*500  $aThe role of an artist has always been a kind of bridge, the linkage between reality and imagination for instance. And it can also be carried out by the actual travelling between different places; bringing different aspects of life together. The video Family Script is the result of such a project. Carried out through India to Tibet, this 9-month project has reunited scattered Tibetan families which have been separated for more than 20 years. Through the means of video art, families living in remote areas of Tibet got the chance to see and listen to their childrens' expressions of longing from India. The emotions were immediate and real. These audio-visual "family letters" offer to viewers a realistic dimension in order to enter to the hearts of Tibet.
