  • 1. Who is Zdenko Buzek? (2002, 8'40) -- 2. Who is Eva Quintas? (2003, 9'40) -- 3. Who is Dimitris Houliarakis? (2005, 9'40)
  • In 1998 I began this (ongoing) project by using a kind of mnemonic observation technique whenever I met people for short periods of time, most often on trips connected to art events. After spending some time with a person, I would write down a kind of statement comprised of short sentences. In this sense the fundament for this work is irregular meetings and conversation. The resulting texts formed short biographies where the particular stands alongside the general.

    After presenting the texts in installation form for several years I now return to some of the "characters" asking them to play the role of themselves according to the texts. In order to recreate and illustrate the fragments - in a strict conceptual but also naive manner - we have to carry out certain actions as well as travel to find specific people. The texts are transformed into re-enacted biographies.
