Anmärkning: Allmän Donation In Taking Over (Metamorphic Action), 2007, the setting up of Master students graduation exhibition at Konsfack (University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, Stockholm) is slowly seen taking shape. We follow a progression from an empty warehouse to a finished exhibition open to the public. The video can be seen as a study of the organisation of space and at the same time as a symbol for the transformation the building itself, Höglagret, is about to go through, and the gentrification that is already happening in the area. The production line of the Ericsson's factory is now located to China and Konstfack has taken over the factory spaces. An award winning architect is drafting the plans for the new Höglagret, which will be an event venue for trade fairs and exhibitions. The area of Telefonplan is marketed as a cultural area with future optimism. The heavily edited footage combines the static and detached gaze of a surveillance camera with a more personal one.
