A series of essays questions theWestern view of Africa, and explores how African history is told and interpreted today. Additionally, five internationally respected artists of African origin - El Anatsui, Zarina Bhimji, António Ole,Yinka Shonibare and Pascale Marthine Tayou - engage in a dialogue about their project at the Berlin National Gallery.
